Had our 987.2 S in the garage yesterday, i had to adjust the handbrake.
The OH brought me brunch, just as i was sat straddling the wheel after fitting.

TVR sold shortly after this photo after 7 years.

In with something completely different!

Out goes 5.5L, blistering performance and scary handling to 3.4L, more than adequate performance in the real world and brilliant handling.

My first Porsche - on its original numberplate before that plate went onto a more suitable car:

Same car but on a more suitable numberplate:

My second Porsche - this overlapped with the first one for a couple of years and then became my only Porsche for another couple of years:

On the day before I sold it back to my supplying OPC:

And now my third, and current, Porsche:

Bit of a stab in the dark here but that's Arlington Row in Bibury in the background isn't it? I spent many happy weekends in Bibury back when I was driving a Ford Angela! Some great roads round there too!

Appalling quality of photo but here's a quick snap of mine after putting new 18" wheels with winter tyres on (has 19s for the summer) and getting fresh MoT.

Spot on. I was driving from Burford to Cirencester at the time, as part of a 65 mile loop on a nice evening.
As you say, some fabulous roads round there wink

Brilliant road from Burford to Cirencester. Could do that again and again. Never had a 'sports car' at the time but you've piqued my memory and I may now return in the Boxster, just to revive the memories.
