You shouldn't lose much on a 911 GTS.
I made money on both of mine and one sale was back to the dealer.
Great cars
Market has had short supply of new stock because the factory was tooling up for the 992. my mate sold his macan turbo back to the dealer he bought it from for a 5k profit after 3 months. it may be different now...I made money on both of mine and one sale was back to the dealer.

Not sure if you’re being ironic on purpose or accidentally.
“Dick measuring contest to see who knows the future” or we “all need to get out more”. Then you go and predict the future?!?!?!
Are we to assume that’s your entry to the competition?
I’ll be honest. You love Boris so I’m not sure telling others they sound silly carries weight. Or length or girth for that matter.
I have to say this ranks as one of the most puzzling responses I’ve read in a while. Like a cry for help or something.
Puzzled!!!!!!!!!! Now you feel how I do when I read most stuff on here. Haha. Not sure if you’re being ironic on purpose or accidentally.

Worth saying that I’ve bought the silver JZM car. It was the right car at the right price for me. I plan to drive it, don’t expect to have ‘free’ motoring or make money (especially since as stated earlier it’s a C98 car from Cyprus) and will really enjoy owning it.
Whole car is unbelievably clean. It was originally bought by Karl Leondard (races in Carrera Cup and often imports/sources Porsche’s) and I think he kept it for just under a year. Second owner then did 3,000 miles. No idea where as it honestly looks like it’s done 1,000 miles.
Price was low for the reason of it being an import and missing Sport Chrono and a Leather Dash. I wasn’t really bothered on either of those points. For me, as long as it was a good colour, had 918 buckets and a few other reasonable options I didn’t mind. Key was to find a tidy and unmolested car.
I fully expect prices will soften a bit more, but I’ve yet to see anything sub £70k that isn’t 18 way seats or high mileage. It’ll be interesting to see what the new car does to values. I’m certainly less miffed that there was no way of me getting an allocation on a 718 now that I’ve seen the reviews. Given the gearbox is the same, the engine almost identical and it looks so similar, I think I’d rather have the 981. I suspect some others will agree, and the market hasn’t exactly been flooded with 981’s since the announcement. I suppose the canny move would be to get a 718, flip it, make money and buy a low mileage 981....

Nice car and a good buy for someone that wants it for driving and actual usage.
When the new and shiny arrives, cars can finally find their way to proper owners.
Look forward to seeing you around, be sure to post up about your adventures.

I’m also helping my friend Jonny who runs JCR Developments, as he’s going to do an exhaust kit for the 981 to allow it to run all the GT3 crossover pipes and even a standard GT3 backbox hopefully.
From the research I’ve done on C98 cars, generally the prices tend to even out after about 5 years anyway, and I’d rather have had this car, some spare cash and a decent selection of options, than a tired C16 car with high mileage, lots of track use and knackered brakes/tyres/seat bolsters! Part of the deal with JZM means I’m getting the wheels done Satin Black which personally I think really make the look of it.

What we need is something relatively easy to bolt on to quieten the GT4 exhaust down for track days. If your friend can do that, there will be plenty of us that will buy it. boxsey said:

Have a look at his GT3 stuff that’s already out there. The race pipe is mental, but he does silenced centres and various other kits to mean you can fit whatever you want and find the right sound level.

Yep - Jonny is known around these parts, and I know him from when we used to have Mini Cooper S' over on MINI2 Forum.

Steve, are you around Donnington on Thursday 1st ??Direct comparisons on noise are a real issue, but there is every indication that mine is now quieter ... and breathes better.
You would be welcome to try it ...
Im currently looking for a GT4 and viewed the £70k car at OPC South London. my only concern is how long they have had the car seeing a few comments on here, is this a car to avoid?? Ive never owned a Porsche but decided to semi grow up sell all the toys and buy a one car does all..
Any advice would be appreciated, Would buying private be a mistake on a GT4?

All his stuff is really modular, so idea is that you’ll be able to run something like the GT3 backbox, and then bolt on his silenced tips which knock quite a few dB off as well.

Not sure if he will be successful on this front as the GT4 and GT3 exhaust system layouts are completely different and I can’t imagine any solution to allow the GT3 parts to fit the 981.....Have a look at his GT3 stuff that’s already out there. Its only been there about 4 weeks, so not a huge amount of time. Main issue is the comparatively high mileage (compared to others) Car has been used as intended so make sure they've replaced the discs/pads (they told me they were going to before sale) and its fully servicedAny advice would be appreciated, Would buying private be a mistake on a GT4?
Personally Id aske them to remove the stripes as well, but that's just personal choice
It will also come with full warranty, and South London are a good bunch

Rather depends on the GT4.
Warranty transferable from a private sale.
Cheers, Only seen 1 private car for sale and its white which is not a colour im after, Red, Grey or Blue, not fussed about clubsport spec although would be nice, Warranty transferable from a private sale.
Sapphire was slightly more popular with 111 cars and 39 grey cars.
Total 592 UK GT4s.
May be a good call going for Agate or even Sapphire bearing in mind these colours have been dropped for the 718 GT4 and Spyder.
Unlike the GT3, Clubsport GT4s attract little premium over non cage cars so if you want clubsport it is a relative bargain considering the extra cost new which I seem to recollect was £3500 ish.
