Just looking for a bit of confirmation. My Spyder is going for a minor service tomorrow. I have been quoted 1000 by both of my two local OPC's (Trier and Manthey), for what is effectively an oil change and 30min inspection. Is this the going rate for such a service as it seems somewhat more than I would have guessed for such a simply service?
took mine out of the Porsche loop, was £220 service, £75 brakes fluid and £40 to replace the caliper nipples Porsche never undid anyway so they seezed in on the inners which I asked them to bleed propley.plus point is brakes are back to mega amazingness :-)
Screw these daft prices for a oil change and check over.

Seems okay price wise. Does not have bucket seats, which many people desire.gareth h said:

Hi it looks a nice car and spec and price wise seems ok and will come with a 2 yr warranty and will no doubt be serviced ,it has Michelin tyres ,most came with Pirelli which are not as good and no rim protectors ,the 18 way seats are not everyone's choice ,are you px you own car against if so doubt you will get near to your asking price B

I’d prefer buckets, but was surprised how low you sit in the electric seats. It does have new Mich PS4S which is a plus, the Lotus will be sold privately or SOR, if I decide to proceed so no pix.B
hopefully get a test drive next week, looking for something slightly less focused than the Exige, but not too “ordinary”

I think that looks a really nice low mileage example. Also importantly it hasn’t got the horrid white internal dash , door , centre console trim. (Most do) I think that with a good fast road set up geo will work really well. hopefully get a test drive next week, looking for something slightly less focused than the Exige, but not too “ordinary”

This has the reverse camera which I don’t have and now think would be useful !Plus it has the 18 way seats which I prefer so overall with low miles looks pretty good to me..
I would say overall it is well spec car ,apart from possibly the buckets ,but it would not be at that price point if it had them more like £72.981 the 2 year warranty and possibly push for a inter service will see you cost free motoring for 2 year and at the end still think you would get close to your money back which cant be bad .that car new was possible around what they are asking now when new .
