Buying a 987 Spyder

That's a very kind offer, I did mention over-revs and they didn't seem to be too clued up, said they had a local garage that could do it - I guess I can push them to get Porsche Nottingham to do it unless you think you can meet me there, I will be there on Friday morning, will be setting off very early as its a real trek for me and I hope the car is as good as they say it is. I've done the MOT checker the mileage all checks out and apparently the original owner was a woman.
Hi W1tak, I've gone down the route of getting the rev range report via an OPC twice. Once with Colchester and once with Guildford. Both times they charged £150, but it's something the seller can keep with car the records for other prospective buyers, so in both cases the selling dealer (not a porsche specialist) seemed happy to cover the cost, once we'd agreed that a clear rev-range would result in me doing the deal. On the other hand a local Indy will likely do it at no-charge given it's a 2 minute job.
Good luck with your search!

It doesn't have air con and apparently this put a few potential buyers off, their loss as I don't see the point on a soft top designed for fair weather driving. Just having a pint to celebrate ??
perfect, I don't see the point in AC on this car, mega thing with those miles. You will love it. the pics did look mint with no wet use.
