Cayman battery removal
Discussion
OK nothing too scary then, It's a varta battery in there just now but it's not been very good, gets used every day of the year as well.
Just had a look, think it's Bosch S4010, can anyone confirm? £72 delivered not too scary
Thanks,
Dunc.
Edit Bosch also do a S5010 for "upper class cars" It's £85, worth the extra?
S4010:- 12V, capacity 80Ah, cold test current 740A, 315mm long, 175mm wide, 175mm high
S5010:- 12V, capacity 85Ah, cold test current 800A, 315mm long, 175mm wide, 175mm high

All done, no problem beyond a few flashy lights on the dash on start up. Keeps the radio station and CD names etc too
On the 2007 cayman it's in the front boot right next to the bulk head under a plastic cover. It's mounted very high which isn't ideal but I guess packaging problems dictated this.
Cheers,
Dunc.
