Does anyone know what a good finance rate is from an OPC before i engage in discussions .

I have a quote from elsewhere but have no idea if its competitive as we don't normally finance our car purchases .

Well I ended up at 6% and also got a little more off the price of the car bringing the discount up to 5%. ( factory order Boxster GTS .

Seemed OK to me ?

I was always going to pay cash so ordered the car after securing a discount .

Circumstances changed so decided to use some finance , negotiated this separately after getting a couple of other quotes .

OPC matched the lowest one .

Did you also get the additional £1500 Porsche/Dealer contribution which you get when you take out the finance after discount negotiations when paying cash?

Was this part of your 5% discount figure if you did get it?
All discounts inc in the 5%

what were your figures like ?

I managed just over 10% all in on Cayman S so perhaps the 7.9% APR was not subject to additional negotiation
I guess your right , bigger discount but part paid back by way of much higher finance rate .
I suspect that S and GTS has something to do with it as well . I struggled to find dealers willing to offer anything off a GTS when I ordered as it had only recently been announced and the cars hadn't even started coming through .
