2014 Cayman, PCM and iPod issues

I have a 2014 Cayman with PCM... the system frequently locks up my iPod. I have to 'reboot' my iPod to get it working and occasionally the PCM reboots itself when everything locks up mid journey.

I've replaced the leads, checked the iPod has the latest updates, etc, but it still does it occasionally.

Does anyone else have the same issue?

Looks like I'll have to put up with the might of Apple fighting the might Porsche and their PCM supplier!
