Anyone owned boh Cayman and a GTS version

So after having a 24 hour test drive in a Cayman (bog standard), I decided that a Cayman was the car for me. Obviously being a bloke I went straight ahead and ordered a GTS version, however now having driven the GTS today I'm wondering if I shouldn't have saved myself 15k and gone for the standard cayman which itself was a sonderfull car.

Don't get me wrong, the GTS is a great car. however it didn't really feel special enough to justify the extra 15k. I could be a little biased because the Cayman was the first 2 seat sports car I had driven and therefor seemed more special at the time.

So here is my question, if you have owned both is there much of a difference, does the GTS grow on you?

Well I've got a deposit down on this http://www.porsche-code.com/PFYTE353 which I'm buying ex demo for around 10% off, it will have around 3000 miles

My cayman build would come to around 53k minus any discount so probably around 48k

I might ask for an extended drive to see if I bond more.

Yes that's right. The gts is ex demo at around 10% off

53k would be for a Cayman I specced myself before any discount applied and I believe it's quite easy to get around 10%

I think I'll stick with the Cayman gts otherwise there will be that what if which will bug me. Also hopefully I'll be on the gt4 list
