986 Door clang
Discussion
Hi all,
Have owned our 986 for a good few years (8, I think). One thing I've always noticed is that when shutting doors with roof down, especially with windows down too, the doors shut with a really cheap-sounding 'clang', not at all like the 'thunk' you'd expect or want, and as it does with roof up.
Is this normal on a 986?
The doors show no signs of ever being apart, nothing inside the door is striking each other, I don't think... the noise is as you'd imagine from an empty metal door shell.
Anyone any thoughts or knowledge? Thanks guys.
