981 climate control
Discussion
I'm currently in a 981 Cayman S and am thinking of moving up to a GTS. In my hunt I've noticed surprisingly rare is the automatic climate control. Am I the only one who thinks that should be a given these days that the car can control the temperature and fan speed on its own? I feel like I can't bring myself to get the next model up and lose such a basic thing. How come more cars weren't specced with it from new?
So for those who don't have it, is it particularly annoying to live without, or in practice do you rarely actually touch it? I guess that as most of these cars don't have it, it's not a big resale value concern either?

Quite a lot of replies, thanks all!
Given a fairly even split between people who think it's important and those who don't I'm no more able to convince myself that it's not a deal breaker. However given that there aren't a huge amount for sale at the moment (11 PDK, of which only four have climate control) it could be an issue (combined with my need for it to be blue).
I'll keep an eye on them and see how they change. More than happy with my 'S' in the mean time!
Also I'd definitely agree with the bundling it with the dual zone might have confused or scared people off. I really don't see the need for the dual zone climate control and think that could have been an option of its own, with regular climate control the norm.
