Can Halfords Fit A Battery
Discussion
I just sent myself a PM and got it but nothing from a furry martial arts trained Mancunian. I am having a major issue with the car in that its a bloody good car that I do 8 miles a day in but I get bored easily and always look to change.

As an example of why that is wrong, PSA cars have a specific procedure....it is not in the handbook. The BSI and some ECU's can be damaged if not followed correctly as well as a good few sensors to get confused.
Removing/reconnecting a battery is like shutting down a PC these days, lots of ECU's need to restart correctly and in order.
^ This ^ Didnt believe it myself , changed more batteries than I care to think about but my Jag XF has to be done the opposite way around so positive first and last , doing it the other way can damage the battery monitoring system Removing/reconnecting a battery is like shutting down a PC these days, lots of ECU's need to restart correctly and in order.
