I have threatened to sell my gtsm for 4 years now, but every time I wipe the dust off it I just have not persuaded myself to do it.
I recon 2017 will be the year to either sell it of use it.
I can appreciate your dilemma ! A manual GT or GTS remain amongst the finest engineering feats for a Grand Tour. Adding to your dilemma the sub- £150K classic market looks set to remain strong I recon 2017 will be the year to either sell it of use it.

There's VAT on the buyers premium too, so unless you're VAT registered to claim it back, the full price was £50,880. And you have to fetch it from King's Lynn etc.

The tidy GTS auto went for more than estimate at Sotheby's

Drivers seat very worn/creased and other areas look a tad worn for the mileage. I would go through the history forensically to ensure it backs up the mileage..roygarth said:

Agreed ! That said the PO could have been heavy-set and somewhat clumsy. I bought a 911 Targa with similar interior wear and tear despite the history records stacking up - it made for a good point of negotiation. Somewhat surprised they haven't brought the interior upto A1 given the price. In it's favour is rare full-full leather, which is a lovely place to spend time. Bo_apex said:
And a rather better deal than the buyer of this M635!http://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/1985-bmw-m635-...
Lovely cars but that's just utter insanity. Scary thing is that clearly someone else wanted to pay £90k plus!

Was offered this for £35k via Hairpin Co back in 2015. I try not to let colour put me off old cars but Velvet Red Metallic not the nicest colour. Combined with cream leather and magenta piping and carpets just didn't do it for me. Hindsight a wonderful thing should have just bought her.IMI A said:

Yes and more importantly the car is mint.
Yes hopefully we'll see it out on the road rather than tucked away in a Carcoon.A low price 5-speed GTS has emerged at Strasse

Fair point. On the flip side, I bought my 550 Maranello from Dennis Bergkamp. Being a lightweight fit bloke with, apparently, severe OCD tendencies, it didn't look like anyone had ever sat in it!
His brother probably drove it more miles than he did.roygarth said:
