£60k when it comes to a 50year old car doesn’t buy you much especially when a decent % of that is a colour change and new panels….several of which don’t seem to fit very well. Also there’s something bad going on with the rear wheels…one of them is sitting relatively centrally in the arch and one isn’t.

Either that's a trick of the light or it's seriously fked.

By the state of the rest of the car, I suspect it is the latter. I'd be surprised if the sale goes through one the new owner goes to see their purchase - if CC allows one to pull out of the sale, I assume so.

It’s nothing to do with CC from this point on. They’ve had their ‘commission’ so now you’re on your own. You can decide not to buy it from the seller but you’ll have spunked your fees. It’s a great platform where they win regardless

I advertised mine on PCARMARKET -

Will be interesting to see where the bids end up...

I see its up for sale soon on CC, no joy then with PCarMarket. Did it have a reserve as I saw it had some high bids going on.

Good luck with the auction!

Ducktails really don't suit anything from a G Series onwards in my opinion, same with Fuchs style wheels.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but I prefer the metallic green with the gold alloys.

Are these original widebody 964s or are they modified narrow bodied?

The blue car and the olive green car (with a ducktail) are both original and fairly rare US market C4 widebody cars.
Europe only got that configuration with the 30 year Anniversary model.

I thought the fit and finish were above average. Mind you I can't fault the metallic green either.

Personally, I've always preferred the 964 looks to the pre 74 cars. An unpopular opinion maybe, for now.

BTW, a widebody Targa 964 went for 40k on car and classic recently.
