for the red car those are the only comments yes. its very nice. the silver car looks beautiful and again, no reservations other than mileage, i have the budget potentially to get something with a little lower mileage, but 94k as such isnt the end of the world.
Cool. I'd buy on condition, rather than mileage. Decide whether you want or need to pay a premium for a lower mileage car (I've often found cars which have been used have less niggles). Higher mileage car may be better if you want to enjoy driving it without the concern of keeping the mileage down!

Then get out there and look at them. I wouldn't post every car up here first or you risk getting beaten to it!

Good luck! smile
yea already learned that one lol, the cheap silver one that lasted about 6hrs from being advertised was literally 15mins from my door, and i could have gone and put a deposit down that same day :-) someone walked away with a bargain or profit!

If you're serious you really need to move fast and be prepared to spend some money getting a car up to your standard or preferred spec. I've been looking for a 993 but have been dicking about and being too fussy...so I still have no 993 and prices have gone up by around 25%. Good luck!
I'm watching daily and have emailed a couple of private sellers etc. There's also a car coming in from Jersey to a dealer that looks worth a trip soon. Will have one for summer fingers crossed

This ^^^^^ I've seen some shockers with lower mileage. Mileage is irreverent these days on these cars.

Adding 20K miles over three or four years will make no difference come sale time. Sooner have 125K miles and add 20K, than an 81K and add 20K. You'd just spend all your time watching the odometer heading for the 100K mark, and pay more money in the first place for the pleasure.

History is everything, low mileage is for the garage queen which is fair enough if you want to look at it all day long, and not drive it.

Stop faffing and get it bought ....... 'Don't like the exhaust tips'..... Blimey smash
I won't let a factor like that put me off lol. Its got a welded in cage and has had carpets cut to suit. Money in pocket until i find the right car cheers

Having done nothing but look at cars this month I've seen a couple at dealers for similar prices to the red car that had no obvious issues but had just had deposits taken. Ive also spoken to the owner of a possibly better car that may be up for sale and am just awaiting a test drive and independent inspection but not rushing into a big purchase like this. Silver or blue ideally but that red was a nice change

Matter of interest have you driven one? It seems your budget is going up. They are not for everyone.
Been passengered in one previously but not driven myself yet no. Test drive arranged for bank holiday coming up in one that sounds promising.

Emailing is not quick enough. You need to ring them as soon as you find them and get down there!!!!
Its in hand. Viewing arranged. Exciting times!

I do like all this talk of 993 values increasing. I have a 1996 993 variogram in Polar silver and black. Bought 16 years ago by me as second owner from Porsche Hamburg who also supplied the car new to the original owner. Now done 90k miles (had 18k on when I bought it). Full service history by Porsche and then Jaz (last 12 years). Suspension and wishbones replaced 2 years ago and front calipers rebuilt last year. Plastic film on the front since I bought it and never resprayed. No rust, has sunroof and 17" wheels, lowered suspension originally by Porsche with the TUV paperwork and LSD as factory fit option. Leather /vinyl interior. Its v very good condition and when I've given her a bath and shine, pretty much mint (apart from perished door seal). Used regularly (every dry weekend). Not interested in selling but curious to know what it might fetch. Should also add its LHD which I've been told opens it up to a bigger export market. Just reading this makes me realise how difficult it would be to replace .... I now have faster / flasher cars as well but the 993 is still the most fun over A and B roads. Other cars may come and go but the 993 is a keeper.

So for everyone looking for a 993, keep looking. They are fantastic cars.
Other than lhd that sounds perfect and i cant see why it wouldn't sell easily for 30-35k min from what ive seen so far.

Has anyone seen the Aventura green c4 at Stirlings? Any idea why it hasn't sold yet - is it because its a C4 or is it the price - or both?

I've spoken to them about the car when it was at 49k. For me its the colour and wheels that put me off. If it was 5k cheaper still i might be tempted but I'd always think i might have preferred blue or silver more. Its had an engine blow up due to a loose oil filter and has lots of proper invoices for the work so that wouldn't worry me as such. It just doesnt jump out at me for 47k regardless of having low miles.

I actually like the colour - but I think that engine problem even though resolved would be an issue given the price of the car.
i think they mentioned an invoice for about 8k repair.

Was it not owned and or rebuilt by one of the best in the business. The chap who owns and runs Jaz Porsche.
not sure about that, but its had an extensive rebuild. it sounded a good car, if it was silver or blue i dont think i'd be typing this, i'd be razzing around in it! :-)
