Last bits from the PCG attic:

1976 Porsche 934 RSR Vaillant looks like my kinda car! Based on the 930 this 480 ps iteration weighs 1,100 kgs and Vmax at 300 kmh. Only 31 built.

Cute 356 cab probably wating for a service.

Porsche 550-0069 http://type550.com/history/chassis-number/550-0069... More of this one in the new year.

Wrapping up. Interested in a visit? Just drop me a line. - Have a fab 2022.

I guess not: there's so much gold over there. But the lighting is not so good for photography.

And the beat goes on: April 21th 2023 I organised a trip to PCG and about 50 enthusiasts joined in.

Early morning meetup in Vianen. No rain! Waiting for a pack of Alfa Romeo and Porsche. And a rare Bitter CD.

One of two Alfa Romeo 4C to join us. Quick and agile devils.

My mate Mike brought his RWB tribute 964: my youngest daughter was invited for the experience.

Nice 993 on golden BBS and a bliss 1983 SC Targa next to the bombshell Bug.

Not your ordinary Bug.

Owner Frans asks if the Bitter CD (395 built between 1974 and 1979) needs its doors shut for my picture: of course not.

Pretty much a Lamborghini Espada look-alike. Frua meets Opel Diplomat and the V8 up front is a 327 Corvette unit.

Sleek GT is actually a 2+2.

Another Alfa 4C making a loud entrance.

This 993 is a thing of beauty.

Lovely 916 3 litre V6 12v coupe next to the equally sized 964: cars were reasonably well proportioned not too long ago.

The Alfa Romeo section of the group.

Pretty wet and foggy, here at eight.

Ben made an effort showing up in his 2006 Turbo: dirt looks so good on red.

Check the small sized wheels of the Bitter CD!

Low rider 964 and a rare 914 CanAm. Livery spec twolitre looks a treat.

For the 3rd time I caught a pack of enthusiasts: 60 this time!

As we were going to the 'secret' attic collection as well, about 60 visitors were a bit too much.

Well, they all had an amazing time.

Sunny friday morning alert: after a spirited 60 mins stint about 60 enthusiasts met in the classic showroom packed with aircooled gems. Mint 356s are my favorite.

Diving into the workshop is entering King Tut's Tumb. So much to see and enjoy! Quality at PCG is the 'only the best' approach.

Just look at this gorgeous 356 coupe: utter perfection.

Two of my favorites in one shot: early 930 and racy 550. Whoah...

The group is storming at a decent pace and I choose to stay behind and find my shots. Look at the workshop: only the finest cars over here.

Entertaining stories and wise words: it's always a joy to listen to the man talk.

Invasion of 60? Mark couldn't care less and led the group through his impressive and immaculate outfit.

Now there's a great solution to stick a plate on a Porsche 356.

Construction aluminium body parts is sheer craftsmanship.

From 901 to latest outlaw creation, and from tailor spec CGT to mint 356: it's all here and handled with love and care.

Well, at least in the Netherlands and Belgium there are some pretty vast collections of goodies, most well hidden.

You can always ask and wait for a YES and a cuppa coffee.

Mark is a diamond geezer and likes to share his gems with enthusiasts.

Glad you had a great time.

Mark Wegh tells his story which is a mix of entrepreneurship, passion and enthusiasm.

The attic is a bijoutery. First part: the VW section.

On with the show:

Full phat 964 Turbo 3.6 in screaming red: I prefer the 3.3 or the earlier 930 models but hey, does this look the biz or what?

The Police Porsche section of Mark's attic. Pretty vast pack of original and not so original cars. Anorak: Dutch police cars have an English right wing mirror!

George Russell drove this one at the Dutch GP parade and all F1 drivers had their Porsche police car for a few laps.

Lando got the 914, my personal favorite and still a lost hero or hidden gem in the classic Porsche family.

Original cars only, here at the PCG attic. There's a 3.2 powered VW Transporter in the backdrop. But it's the 356 Speedster that caught your eye.

Almost at the end of the Classic Attic Tour:

This 3 litre RSR for me is a highlight: imagine wrestling one of these...

This 928 Clubsport is a hidden gem in the collection: https://www.porscheclub928.nl/PorscheClubs/pc_928n...

Only a handful were handed out to the period Porsche LM racers.

Full house, but Mark's enthusiastic voice lacks any sign of stopping. Every car has a story. In fact, every car has many stories.

The end of the Attic Tour boasts a clash with elements some German visitors may find truly upsetting. But hey, this is a piece of history still.

Fantastic and legendary profile. The rear needs a bit of attention though...

Three litre RSR indeed.

I found that out while posting on Insta...

Back in the days I organised 12 Dutch Spring Runs: a full weekend driving around The Netherlands and catching a piece of The Belgium Ardens or German Autobahn.

I would not call a PCG visit a day trip, when you are coming from the UK.

Tip: catch the ferry, sleep, next day drive to PCG and enjoy, drink, sleep, next day visit the Louwman Museum or hoon The Ardens and fly home.

Or drink and sleep.

Something...
