Thanks and no I'm keeping it mostly standard which makes it a little different when parked up with most others these days. Do appreciate the work, mods, some have done though the level of work is outstanding on most occasions.
Ok, still looks great. Cup mirrors were standard obviously, on the later cars with the Cup alloys. Flags and D90s, or Cup wheels and Cup mirrors. Edited by dozzer on Wednesday 12th February 14:36
I still had flags on my old one but teardrops were on the to-do list.
This site used to have some great looking 964s and parts on it. They had a spell of advertising over here, but I don't see much of them now.

Just finishing off my winter projects so that it's ready for another year. Nothing as back-breaking as last year when I tackled the interior strip out. This year's list was:
Fit new wing/scuttle seals
Remedy the squealing CCU fan
Brake fluid change and clutch slave bleed
A new set of Toyo R888s for the track wheels
and since the original exhaust tail pipe is now rusty and untidy, I've treated it to a shiny Dansk one

Should've kept hold of your previous C2 mate.
BTW did I spot you on the list for Spa in July?
Hi Steve hope you ok mate. Yes im thinking you may well be right with my old 964 especially as I sold it straight to Paul Stephens who made it look a million bucks.BTW did I spot you on the list for Spa in July?
I sold it as I figured it was time for an Exige and a break from Porsche but literally after a few weeks knew I needed another 911. I bought the 996 RS which has been a smart buy I think but id have driven the 964 more had I have kept that. Been toying with many ideas re cars but I think ill stick where I am unless something REALLY catches my eye. RE Spa yes Steve im there in the lotus. Would be great to finally meet up and maybe have a spin in the 964. The Lotus is a brilliant little track car. Im scared ill stack the RS !!!

That's sweet! A nice finishing touch - actually prefer that to the oval.
Have similar little job to do - can I ask part number / where from?
Cheers

It's a tenner more than the slash cut version but I liked the look of the rolled lip better on this one.

Yes David. The Spa and Zandvoort double header started off with a handful of us being interested. Currently there are 14 x 964s (including RSs and cups) booked plus a number of other Porsches in our group. Should be a good one!Boxey so you on the july spa run then....great news
