Centre panel now done in leather, with inspection panel in carbon but also leather covered. Had to share as I think it looks really good - often the tunnel is a bit bumpy but we got rid of all that so when covered tightly in leather it looks proper.
There is a carbon panel being made up to join the tunnel to the bulkhead so it will look seamless.

The specifications look awesome and the colour and interior really suit the car. What a cool 911 one of one. Love it
Thanks. Been a labour of many many weeks has the spec. Just finalising some details as the trimmer is working on the door cards presently. The gold car had sunbeam kind of effect on the door cards. Mine will instead have two vertical contrast stripes to denote the number 11.

Fantastic build Andrew!
I hope when you do get it they have the engine issues sorted…I remember when I was at Tuthill 18 months ago having my car serviced they told me about this super lightweight car with an 11k rpm engine. I asked what the engine specs/output was and the answer was “we don’t know yet as it hasn’t run above 8.5k rpm”

You’ve been incredibly patient with Tuthill I have to say (especially given the £££), I remember you saying you were hoping to bring it to the meet back in March or April. I know work on “classics” can over run ( I have a SWB being restored at the moment) but this is essentially a new car.

A year ago they had only just put the first engine in an actual car (the gold one) and taken it to Monterrey and also thrashed it around Laguna Seca. Since then a lot of work on it, lots of dyno time, testing, Harris thrashing it in the video etc. A bit frustrating that still waiting for the low speed mapping to be finalised but I am assured we are on the home straight. It is a new car in many ways but that means a lot of things are developed for the first time and credit to Tuthill they are still making small detail changes which my car is benefiting from, such as the carbon shells for the door mirrors - they didn’t like how much the mirror needed to be angled on the passenger side so that the driver had a good view; so those are being slightly modified. Also a new carbon trim piece ahead of the rear bulkhead. Etc.
I wish the car had arrived weeks ago but I am sure I will not care in a few weeks and I am frazzled after the first proper drive

Something like this isn’t cheap but it is such a special thing even when you compare to the obvious alternatives and how often do you get involved to this extent and spec everything how you want it? Just call them up and ask about prices, lead times and availability of build slots.
Phew, this means its not in the ‘if you have to ask…” category i can still hope…GT3Manthey said:
Just seen a post on FB from them on the SC RS . Looks a lovely build and more everyday I guess . No idea on pricing but I’m guessing around the 400k mark ?
SC RS is north of that now, I think the first five were about £400k. Tuthill's hot rods were I suppose traditionally ST Reps, those are more than £400k now to order/spec from what I understand. Awesome cars but eye watering money these days.
