Heres mine.. 2.8 RSR hot rod.
Donor was a mint rustfree 1988 930 Turbo in orginal black.
Used that to get the correct strengthened RSR shell ...
3.25L Longstroke on AT Power ITBs and Motec..
316 BHP...shortened ratios G50.. should fly...
spent around 250k on getting it here.. will I get that back if I sell..
maybe, maybe not... been a fun process though

FWIW, a stock 930 Turbo shell is a long way from a 2.8 RSR shell in terms of strengthening and chassis mods.
The front panel was modified for the RSR oil cooler, the floor modified for the RSR pedal box, welded in mounting points for the RSR front strut brace, additional gussets on the rear suspension turrets to name but a few of the differences.
Sure, being NA loads of differences with cooler placements etc.
Engine is built by Richard Chamberlain, he is the one who told me that the 930 shell is stiff as hell. Its ready to race.
He should know, he races a 935 ( with a 962 engine)
The 930 shell is sublime for racing, its formed the basis for the 934. The rules dictated that the standard road-going shell had to be maintained (with lightening of the structural coachwork and chassis elements not permitted).Even if reinforcement of the chassis was allowed, the only thing the 934 gained was an X-shaped cross brace between the front wheels. and thats a 480 bhp turbo engine with twice the torque of a 2.8 RSR engine. maybe three times : - )
Of cource, if your basis was a 911T - alot more modifications would be needed. much older and softer shell - not to mention rust - its not even galvanized. 930 got that in the late 70s I believe.

I'd rather have something honest to its roots like that than a singer!
Nicely done!
...or would you prefer this for £200k!Nicely done!

didn't think so
From a looks point of view I like it, but it was a big mistake to take something that lovely and put electric motors in it.
The early IB cars are my fave looking. I have had long bonnet cars and loved them also but I have a soft spot for the 74 Carrera 2.7.
Which is why my car looks like one.
Next for me for a ground up build would be an ST in green. 3.0 with hot cams on ITBs, short ratio box, quick rack, turbo brakes, compliant suspension. 900Kg.
Lively!

ooh, i like that green ST, many years ago I always thought, hm a 3.0 200/210hp not really 'worthy' but lately I often see such sort cars for sale with the 3.0 but then also tuned to 270-285hp thats good for a under 1.000kg car.
also see often for sale such with the 3.2 and some tuned to 3.4 and also around 300hp or a bit more.
so yes, good power from those engines is possible, but still I would love one with 3.6 or even better 3.8, a bit more torque.

This looks like a nice job they have done here....

Like a caricature of an early 911.
Wheels too big.
Rear bumper wonky?
Front horn grilles wonky?
Front lower splitter looks wrong.
Shame how many 911's have been butchered with other companies trying to follow in singers footsteps.
yep its all pumped up and looks a bit silly in my opinion.Wheels too big.
