Porsche certificate of authenticity document

I have a 1989 porsche 928 s4... And i need to prove both its month and year of manufacture to my local vehicle regulator.

Im not sure if a PCOA provides this detail... I'm not sure what a PCOA costs... Or how i get one... Or how quickly i can be sent the results... Ideally I'm after this detail asap.

Can anyone assist or provide direction please?

Porsche Club GB used to issue them with the help of Porsche GB....they can no longer do that as the latter won’t release the info. I’d ask your local OPC...they should be able to get info from VIN number ? Or ask Porsche GB. Worth a phone call.

If you get in touch with Porsche GB at Reading they will be able to help.
You need to prove ownership and the fee is about £60

As of 2018 Porsche GB no longer offer a certificate of production (This is what the Cert of Authenticity changed too).

My experience is exactly as above, they stopped issuing them in 2018

There was a statement about it, but I can't for the life of me remeber. I think it was admin based (i.e workload) but I may be wrong.

Data protection, unscrupulous persons using the information and money ( Porsche now have you bring along your car and they physically inspect it at a cost ).
