Where to start---
Discussion
I have always fancied something a bit more classic, i prefer cars when they weren't computers, my current love is a classic porsche, dream car would be an RS version however out of price bracket. Looking at around £15K
My other love is TVR so its pretty much a Chimera or a Porsche.
It seems there are soo many different types so a bit stuck on where to begin
What can the masses at piston heads suggest considering budget or shall i wait till i can put more capital in? or are there websites that offer this information
as always many thanks for your contribution

As a long term Porsche fan (past 968CS owner) I had 10K to spend last summer.
I considered Boxsters/968/944 but it was a fun car so I wanted something fun and these seemed a little too polished and almost daily drivers.
I then looked at Chimaeras and after looking at 6 in a week I brought the one I have now. It hasnt broken down, its plenty fast and makes a fab noise.
However, if I would have had 15K to spend I would have looked at a 911, esp a 964
Not to turn this into a TVR forum but how are you getting on with the Chimera, any niggles ? did you try many first? I considered Boxsters/968/944 but it was a fun car so I wanted something fun and these seemed a little too polished and almost daily drivers.
