OK. To add to the collection.

Looked at a 86 sc coupe. Needs some work, but basically sound. He wanted £20K, offered £12K, he is at £16K.... Oh, forgot to mention, needs injection sorting/replacing. Paint is microblistered and a few bubbles of pug...

Also got my eye on a Turbo Body 964 LHD Tip. Any LHD has to be tip/auto for me because of my right arm. This one is rather lovely. £21K. Also has a/c and Bilsteins.

Much fun ensues looking and researching! Drove a 996 X50 some while ago and found it a bit bland. Like my toys like this a bit more edgy and communicative. Not too keen on the 996 look, but a Turbo might be a thing.

I have heard that in the world of aircooled a LHD is better for pedal arrangement?

Gentlemen, you have the floor. (Probably slightly crusty and holed if it's an early 911 floor!)

I need help? Really?
The SC is a '82 actually, typisht error....
The 964 is a JP import, so no telling really. Going to check it out.
About 3 books and Gawd knows how many magazine articles.

The SC is basically ok - so long as I get it for the £12K that I bid on it.

Probably do need help with the size of the collection though..... It will be increasing by 3 over the next couple of months, actually 4 remembering the Romeo transporter.

I guess that this 964 may be a JP spec. Makes it very rare. Still interested to know if the LHD is better for ergonomics?

Bentley doing well. Fine trackday at Goodwood - new Oz superlegover wheels plus Federal RSR's transformed the handling over the 19" ones.

Going for a alloy fuel tank, the original is 100lt steel!! More weight loss follows.

The LHD pedal arrangement is much better. RHD cars have the pedals offset to the left so the seating position is a little different.
Thanks for an answer to the original question! Much as I thought.

Awaiting further details of the 964 - the SC geezer stuck on £16K
