With a recent 73RS sellling here in OZ 565KGBP reportedly , not sure one of those will be getting into my garage soon

Anyhow , would love to know your thoughts on RS Clones/Replicas, im stuck on the classic look and have that champagne taste with a beer budget problem, I have been checking out some porsche based replicas and wondered what peoples views are on these.

I have thought of buying a clean period 70's of course, these are approximately 5k-10 K GBP more in price

So stepping away from purity I know there are many ways to do a cosmetic clone, however I wondered peoples view if you had the following donor bones and builds, pre done within in a reasonably close price range 3k GBP spread what would you choose from a point of view of resale interest later.

One final appeal is of course having something as a toy to take for a little blast, hopefully with all the right noises and some level of handling. The other toys in my garage are slowly becoming a little too precious to play reasonably hard with.

So I have currently reviewed three, genuinely all good looking cars, which im sure would be some fun to drive.

Professionally backdated by an enthusiast company, all steel , 81 SC couple with a 3.6 963 motor , immaculate finish 9/5- 10 , Possibly a 10/10

A 70 LHD , fiberglass bonnet .. with 3.0 Mech Injection motor, 915 Gear Box - Remains LHD in RHD country but still driveable here 7/10 a condition

A 71 LHD - 911E now RHD , with 3.2 Carrera guessing 85 and 915 G box 8-8.5/10 , two very small one inch rust spots bring my rating down or it would be a 9.

Thanks for your thoughts
