A 993 is a beautiful 911 IF photographed properly. This has not been IMO.

25K surely in these mad days seems a good price for a manual NB compared to lesser previous model aircooled 911s out there? hehe

Yes the body could be rusting the suspension shagged, but I'd bet a fair wedge it wouldn't require as much work as a comparable mileage earlier 911.

187K miles for a 993 engine, it's barely run in yet. smile

I have a 993, having owned it for 8 years I am out of touch with prices as I have one I don't look. I paid over the odds all that time ago to get what I felt was a nice one.

Has the market realistically moved (not just sellers speculative pricing) up that much that moderately high mileage cars can command asking prices into the high £30 000's?

If so all I can say is WOW.
This appears to be the case. IMO the 993 is still the air cooled bargain for what you actually get.
I also still believe that they are the prettiest 911 to date.
This ^^^^^, me too.

IMO they are also the best of the post 73 aircooled.

I think PH members should add a footnote to all posts declaring their current car! wink
Ah I see where your coming from smile.

Previously I've also owned a 2.7, 3.2 and a 964 ....... Compared to the prices of those these days, the last of the aircooled 993 still seems a bit of a 'bargain', and IMHO really is the best of the bunch.

I see its still for sale.
