Help Needed Regarding Failed MOT on Emissions, 3.2 Carrera

Hi All

I have taken my 1989 3.2 Carrera for a MOT and it has failed on emissions (Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content excessive (7.3.B.1a)

As this is my first Porsche can anyone advise me on this matter, is this a common problem and the best way to fix,

Hi, the garage never let me know the reading, they had just told me it failed on emissions, I will find out, the car is still in the garage as the car had been left with them and the MOT had been done on Saturday.

Cheers for your advice, I will run the engine for a bit and then ask the garage to re-test the emissions.
