Black and yellow look amazing, and carry the stripe off very well, not sure it works on red car

The stripe is light grey. They've spec'd it well, the car looks fantastic.

Had a drive of HR Owens demonstrator today after being out in the Scud out and was impressed. It was only a short drive but while the 458 is a lot more polished it still has that V8 special hard edge to it.

Spent a bit of time on the configurer (if that's a word) and there's a lot more options in terms of colours, stripes etc than were available for the Scuderia.

Sorted out my ideal spec (incl. stripe), just have to decide whether or not I'm finished with the Scud and ready to move on to the Speciale.....

What time scale are HR Owen offering if you order now?

A Speciale was also delivered in Edinburgh on Saturday - Rosso Corsa with white-blue-white stripe.

This Speciale with 4 layer paint in the sun is fantastic, hard to capture in the picture but it had a real depth to it.
