Sold my CS, bought the scud and pocket £80k. No brainier with the strong euro.
10 days for VOSA to issue a uk COC as they want proof to that the lights been adjusted, uk speedo, and then 10 days for dvla to issue the V5 as they need the VOSA certificate.

My spec is of scud is
10k miles
1 owner
12 months Ferrari warranty
Full same main dealer service history
Red Harness with red pads
Full Alcantra, black with red stitching
LED Steering wheel in carbon
Fire extinguisher
Roll cage
Stereo with boot loader, sat nav, iPod connector
Battery conditioner
Spare wheel with tool box and jack for spare wheel
Air compressor
First aid box
Tool kit
Red callipars
Seat, car body external . Spare wheel and steering covers with bag
Similar (ish) - more miles @ 22k and no contrast stitching, covers or stereo for me, everything else is the same though...

I've just sold my Testarossa, and although not pocketing quite so much, when you look around, i really don't think there is much to compare to a Scud @ circa 100k.

i know i could have got a better deal by sourcing a car from Europe myself, but i just wanted to play it 'extra safe' - and this was certainly the nicest, most original car i went so see, by a long way. The only other car that came close condition wise was in Belgium (through Ferrari Approved) but i wasn't sure on the colour, it was a special order (apparently) grey - once again i played it safe, and went for red...

Yes in Spain and this morning a nice red Scud came up behind and dropped a gear and nailed it , the acceleration and noise , my boys loved it . Made me wonder why I drove Porsche all those years .
NOt sure about my Scud though and the noise as we need to make 105 static to race the GT3 , but will be out at Silverstone in 2 weeks.

Do you know if you are allowed to use the car on UK roads whilst these bits are being applied for??

Love the rosso corsa, congrats on your scud! In terms of using it on the road, you need it to be insured, mot and tax. You are allowed to take it to the mot station or VOSA inspection place only and must be insured to do this.

Scud better bolted together, quicker, and has the rawness too. The beggar box is soooo much better! Sound better on the CS but that is not everything. Rather have the scud and nearly £100k in my pocket!! Each to their own...,,

LHD Scud to LHD CS is certainly not 100k, not even close. And who cares about how bolted together, otherwise we'd all be driving Porsches. Seem to recall a certain car called the F40 being quite liked and yet not bolted together all that well. Scud is a great car yes, no doubt at all. But CS wins for noise, looks and drama everyday since you can't use them to the full on the roads anyway and most tracks don't let them on..... If you just want performance then buy the latest greatest thing..... But yes each to their own

Anyway sorry for hijacking original thread, just having some fun : ) great choice of car and hope you love it!!

Noise (stock) yes, but you are wrong on looks and drama - Scud wins 2 out of 3, SF2 is sublime!
