Each to their own but I have zero interest in McLarens. Cant be arsed to explain why but lots of reasons, not least because they look st (Have I mentioned the chinaman front?).
But, I don't feel the need to constantly bang on about those reasons in the McLaren forums.
Every time I see Rambo doing it in here I have a little smile to myself. Obvious sign of insecurity.
I'll give him this though, he's resisted biting when I've posted these pictures elsewhere (not in the Macca forum I might add).
Herro!*
*I apologise profusely for the mild racism here. It is purely for comic affect.

I'm also looking into 650s spyders ...... just sold a 12C...fancy a change.
The mkt values (as I do) 488s far higher than 650s (which makes sense as the McLaren and Ferrari production cycles are out of synch ...... the p14 will be the McLaren 488 competitor).
Now the problem is the 'boss women' doesn't really like the 488 and all that goes with Ferrari.......I think she fears ....it might cure my balding, middle age, overweight looks....

I think that must be one them above pictured with the McLaren
The red car with Nero seats looks great. I like the red stitching too. I also like these in giallo Modena.
I wouldn't worry about what your wife says too much right now. . Mine hated my car to begin with but now loves it. I'd pay even less attention to the other chap Derek banging on about McLarens in a Ferrari forum. It's reminiscent of a school yard at break time!

For the seats alone that's a better choice for me.
Yeah there is a deal to be done on that car for sure but is it worth more than a 650s spider ?
Go in with your size 10 boots on but still think the McLaren knocks it out the park for value for money and exclusivity

Hi wilmslowboy; Just a thought - what about the red with crema & black interior at your local F dealership? That's been there for a few months now in the window - must be worth a deal?
G
Nice spec car but £30k more than the other two G
Ps I remember reading the build story of your 993 on 911Uk years and years ok - what an exciting project and great end result
I'm sure I've seen it driven through Wilmslow on rare occasion.

Not often I laugh out loud at PH posts but that one got me.
It's brilliant isn't it. This thread is like some kind of Fast Show sketch.OP walks into a shop: "I'd like to buy a Ferrari please."
Rambo Lambo: "Have you considered a McLaren, sir?"
OP: "No, I've got my heart set on a Ferrari."
Rambo Lambo: "How quaint. You do realise the McLaren has a carbon tub."
OP: "I just want to buy a Ferrari."
Rambo Lambo: "But Sir, the McLaren is half-an-ounce lighter and goes round a track .00003 seconds quicker."
OP: "Please just sell me a Ferrari."
Rambo Lambo: "I think if you drive a McLaren you won't go back. By the way, do you realise it has a carbon tub. It also generates 3 grams more downforce at 207mph."
OP bangs head repeatedly against the wall because physical pain is preferable to this conversation. Walks out of shop.
Rambo Lambo: "You'll be back sir. You mark my words. The McLaren is lighter, faster, better looking.....voice fades out.
