Is it bright green? I drive past a house regularly where one is parked up.

Have to confess that Podium isn’t really my kind of place. When down a few times when it first opened and it was ok, just finding its feet. Went down a few weeks ago and got very bored very quickly with people flooring their cars when leaving. I like their coffee though.

No, that's a mates Spyder. I have a bright Orange one. Perf... I like it, it's quiet enough to enjoy a coffee and read the paper and also see some nice metal. I don't like the slammed max power meets but some good Porsche ones there.

And there is a Lime Green Perfo too which is another mate!

Oddly enough I’m in Podium right now, right next to a rather lovely Challenge Stradale. The weather has turned a little and given that I’ve hardly driven The Pony and had a spare couple of hours…

That is John's motor, the owner, along with the XJ220 and 30 odd other motors he has in his fleet. He took the CS on the recent Podium Tours and I was there in my Perf. Video diary here...

16:15 on he's following me.

Jeez, that's a lot of cars! The colour of the XJ220 is certainly unusual. Who is John anyway, local fellow?

F1. 2 months ago Race Tech said it was 38% worn. No warning lights or signs of slipping, infact on the move the gear change has been lovely, however, it had been grabbing occasionally when stationary and winding off the PIS didnt help. Suspect a clutch finger has gone. Hoping it hasn't damaged the flywheel too much. I was worried it was something else, but I can still select a gear so the hydraulics are ok and there are no fluid leaks. It runs a CS TCU (not sure if relevant)

I’d be surprised if it’s the fingers. Sounds more like the release bearing is seizing, if pis adjustment made no difference.

Maybe. It was always fine when moving. I’m sure AV will diagnose the issue when I get the car to them.

No… I’ll stick with just the V12 stallion for now!

This pic just popped up in my history and I saw this thread so I thought I’d pop it up.
I’ve actually since convinced the driver in the picture to turn to the “dark side” and get a 911

I can associate with that. My manual one did similar a month or so ago.
I'm not techie minded but I think the clutch release bearing(?) did something bad.
Once it was all in bits it seemed as well fitting a new clutch as well.
It's actually the first "big" bill I've had with it in over 10 years.
Ho hum.
