Hi all,

I've done a search but have found it's not really giving the answers that I want so hoping for a few opinions!

I'm looking for an exhaust for a 430 Spyder. Having previously had a 360 that came with a tubi I am looking for something similar BUT I don't know if the 360 tubi was just a back box or the full system.

So, the question is what to fit to the 430? Even better would be for someone to be in a sensible distance of either oxford or Hatfield that would either let me listen to their system or better still take me for a quick (10 mins) spin?

Thanks in advance!

Doris

Hi Jappo,

Are you around tomorrow afternoon, say 4ish?

Any other opinions on which system to go for and the associated sound?

Will just the back box give the higher pitch 'howl' or do you need a full system?

Do you leave the valves as is or fix them so they are permanently open?

Anyone willing to comment?

I've tried a search but cannot see a definitive answer on whether just the backbox alone will produce a greatly different sound to the standard exhaust?

An old post on FChat suggests not for a capristo and that you need the full system but that's £8k.

Another post suggests that the tubi backbox is better.

Does anyone have just the back box and wish to give their opinion?

Should I just get he valves open?
