Price for one years Power 15 warranty for the FF is currently £4668.00 Inc VAT
Your car would need a Ferrari inspection. Any defects found in the inspection will need to be carried out before the warranty can be applied. If the car has already got a Power 15 warranty the Power 15 renewal needs to be applied for no later than 30 days of the end date of the current warranty.

I recently went through this.
When I added up the cost of the inspection, getting the list of work done highlighted in the service which I'd just had done, then adding the cost of the warranty I was at pretty much £10,000
I considered it, as I had used the warranty in the previous 12 months for various little bits and pieces. Before I went ahead though I got quotes for the work that needed doing to bring the car up to scratch with a well respected specialist using the same parts that would be supplied by the official Ferrari Dealer.
I've just had all that work done for £2,300, I then spent a further £1,000 on some preventitve care. So I'm around £6,700 ahead which I can use towards any failures that may occur in the future.
My car is now 9 years old and I'm doing north of 10,000 miles a year in it. It's now time to take it out of the franchised network.

These cars seem to depreciate very little at the age they’re at now.
I’ve always heard about depreciation on front engine V12 Ferraris, but these seem to be bucking the trend.
I’ve owned a 612 in the past, but can any current owners help to make sense of this lack of depreciations?

The colours you're looking for, great spec, second gen head unit with carplay. Nice options at the right money.
You'll struggle to find better than this.

Are these starting to creep up in value again?
Early ones are now more than 10 years old. It's a sort of tidemark for Ferrari's where condition and spec becomes everything. As the numbers of good cars available dwindles, the good ones firm up on price and the rough ones struggle to sell. The gap starts to widen.
FF's are always only ever going to appeal to a small pool of buyers, realistically it's an odd choice. It doesn't do anything that an RS6 can't do, but it's a V12 Ferrari. So it's an irrational purchase.
As there are so few the market can appear to be all over the place, there are rarely more than 15 openly advertised for sale at any one time and there can be a vast spread based on age, mileage, spec and condition.
Personally I feel anywhere around £100K is a bargain for one of these when you look at what that buys you now new.

Stratstone have done work on mine for no more than I was quoted at an independent, I thought they were very reasonable to be honest (and always very good to deal with too)

What other Ferrari could you enjoy on a frosty morning like this? This really is a very complete package.
Does anyone else find the HVAC controls to be utterly useless? This is my first winter with the car, and the amount of fettling required to keep the system from not blowing hot and cold randomly at various speeds is infuriating. Also find the windows get steamed up very quickly.ensignia said:

My FF's cabin heating is good generally but when on a long distance journey down a motorway it seems to get cold in the cabin and I then have to keep upping the temp controller to compensate. So for 22 degrees it has to be set at 28 degrees. I thought it was a thermostat problem but thats been ruled out. Might need a new air temp sensor in the cabin.

Will 458 or California wheels work as a winter set for the FF?
Got my eye on the Cali wheels on CC as a winter set
The offsets are compatible between the FF, Cali and 458. The issue you'll encounter is that the 458 and Cali wheels might not be rated for the axle load of the FF. I also notice that the CC set of wheels are 19". This opens up a can of worms in terms of tyre sizing but can be beneficial as you'll end up with a fatter sidewall which is good for traction, comfort and pothole absorption. The flipside is an ungainly look and worse handling. The photo below shows a 19/20 staggered setup. The fronts are wearing 245/40/19 tyres. I don't think I've seen a photo of 19" all round. Please update us if you decide to go ahead.Got my eye on the Cali wheels on CC as a winter set
The alternative is to source a s/h set of the stock FF or Lusso wheels on eBay as they aren't much loved and therefore relatively cheap.

No issue with my HVAC in any conditions, from +40c to -10c. No steamy windows either...ANOpax said:

I thought so too, the spec is pretty much right up my street but I can see why others may consider it a bit dull.Might just be the market and time of year, there were some other cheap cars sold on CC last night too.
