308/328 Values
Discussion
I've started to see RHD, pre-ABS 328s with circa 40-50k miles around the £80k mark, so clearly prices are softening a little. It's interesting 'cause when you look around you see these mixed up with comparable ones that have clearly been on the market longer as they're still in the £100k-120k ballpark.
I’ve been considering selling my Lancia integrale evo2 and buying a 308 so started doing some research.
Just considering at the moment ,love my delta so need to somehow try sitting in and getting a passenger ride or something. I’m working on that.
What confuses me is that pricing is literally everywhere. I get that the gtsi is the least desirable and I appear to be starting at £50k now for a red gtsi. And 55k up for carb/q.v.
Some
Are like 70-80-90-120k!
I’m starting to thing these are going to ‘do a dino’ 😂

But the Dino has numbers on its side this has much higher volume so I’d not think £500k would be doable — then again! Just considering at the moment ,love my delta so need to somehow try sitting in and getting a passenger ride or something. I’m working on that.

They are coming down rather than going up

Only really been looking at prices for last couple of months. Are they dropping now?
Lancia’s evo’s are still rising, so maybe my money is wiser in my Lancia for a while then..
As with anything crystal ball if you knew you’d not be on here. Lancia’s evo’s are still rising, so maybe my money is wiser in my Lancia for a while then..
Instead buy the car you like and enjoy it £ increase is a quality problem but trying to hunt out appreciators and market conditions given were at the top of the bubble (possibly) is a fairly punchy move

I've both. Huge variation in pricing is the same in the Integrale world. Focus on condition. Just considering at the moment ,love my delta so need to somehow try sitting in and getting a passenger ride or something. I’m working on that.

I love them both but If I had to choose between my 8v Kat & the 308, the 308 would win (regardless of values)

There were numerous iterations of the 308 with varying specifications, numbers produced and relative desirability, hence the broad spread of prices. Also, as I mentioned earlier with regard to 328s, if someone has just advertised a car it might be cheaper than an identical one that was listed a few months ago (and hasn't yet sold) as prices have softened somewhat recently.Messer said:

Lol that red GTSi at £50k you've seen for sale is most likely mine. Having owned 7 integrales in the 18 years I've owned the 308 I to would agree that its a hard decision (probably shooting myself in the foot there). The Grale's are such a special car. The 308 for me however is just that bit more special and surprisingly user friendly. Mine wouldn't be for sale if I hadn't agreed 5 years ago to buy another F car from a close friend.Just considering at the moment ,love my delta so need to somehow try sitting in and getting a passenger ride or something. I’m working on that.

Nice. I bought one a few weeks ago. A very original car that had been stored for 28 years (feel free to check out the video below). After a few running issues I've been out in it again today and now have the confidence to push the engine a little more. A wonderful car.
