Which Ferrari?
Discussion
Having just sold my Porsche 996 Turbo (for what I paid for it 4 years ago!) I may now like to try a Ferrari.
I'd only want to spend £30k on a classic or maybe £40k on a modern. I of course would like red and ideally 4 seats (to keep it a family affair). Running costs are not so importent to me, but good looks, good sound and reliability are. If it was to hold its value then that would be a bonus. It would be a pampered weekend car. Plus, being Midlands based, insight in to sales and serving places that are trusted would be helpful too.
Thanks for any pointers (including to actual cars)

Oula! May I suggest a red porsche?
Good luck with red reliable 4seats 30-40k£ search...actually a Mondial T may fit the bill, I don't see other options really.
Even cabriolet so u can enjoy its music: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...
I am afraid a good manual 456 is out of your budget, and red are mega rare...but maybe a good automatic one: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...
456 didn't stir anything I'm afraid, but thanks; the Mondial however certainly did! That looks perfect. Why such a good price and why hasn't it sold do you think? Are they considered good cars? Thanks for taking the time to post; it's all good food for thought. There are a heap of others cars i'd like to own one day (including a: Jensen Interceptor; TR8; Capri 280 et al), but thought I'd get the Ferrari itch scratched next. I think I have narrowed it down to either a Mondial or a 360 (I would still prefer 4 seats though). I guess whichever grabs my attention first will get the nod. I don't need the absolute speed this time around; as has been stated, the 996 did all that. This time it can be about the look of the car. Thanks again; further insights still welcomed. Plus; any trusted dealers in East/West Mids?
