Seasons Greetings my Fellow Petrolheads,

I’ve been watching this Rosso 458 in the small adds for what could possibly be a number of years, it’s advertised for sale at £99k having just been reduced from £105k.

Has anyone seen or inspected this car, if so please let me know your findings? It has some aftermarket suspension, Novitec possibly, I’d want to change back to OEM but would expect to pay £10k to sort that even with 2nd hand bits.
Any pictures of the damage?

Thanks in advance

No it’s looks cheap, it’s to low and I bet it drives like a pig, totally impractical too

Does look nice lowered, you might be able to unwind the struts to increase the height.

Don’t want to get into the CAT status cars and are they worth buying, I’ve had 20plus and even the absolute dogs I bought have always held it made money on after I’ve got bored of it, had flood damaged, CAT D C S…..

You can’t get a 458 for less than 130k, unless it has big big miles on it screams, bad buy, it’s a white one or something!!

I just want to know more about it before I enquire, I’m sure several people have already done the leg work and Pistonheads community is always helpful and willing to assist with enquiries like mine on this particular car.

Try running it one of the HPI sites or CarVertical sometimes they show pictures of damage.

Otherwise surely ask the vendor - it's an obvious question any buyer will ask and they may have pictures on file.

Either way you are best to get the car independently inspected.

In the scheme of things for not a lot more money you can now get one without CAT history. Winter market and there are more for sale than 3/4 months ago (almost double).
