Huracan STS Evo?
Discussion
Now that I’ve had a chance to drive the car ( in streaming wet conditions btw) and comparing it to my Performante, in my opinion it’s a massive step up in feel, feedback and agility imo..
I was concerned that it was going to be really stiff and uncompromising on the road, but I thought it was actually more supple than the Perf and rode the bumps really well and felt properly planted, it was a revelation. Apparently the 2021 cars were very stiff but the MY2022models have different damper settings, and the traction and bump handling were superb.
Ok it might not be the fastest car out there at the moment but combine the chassis with a mega responsive engine is a winning combination for me…
Can’t wait for my delivery now!

Be interested to know what the MY22 changes were as the demo i drove definitely needed them for road use.I was concerned that it was going to be really stiff and uncompromising on the road, but I thought it was actually more supple than the Perf and rode the bumps really well and felt properly planted, it was a revelation. Fairplay to Lamborghini if they have listened to feedback and changed it so soon. Have they done anything to the sound at lower revs?

The exhaust is quieter at lower revs, you can cure that by pulling the vacuum line or getting a controller. I think that noise regulation regulations have finally caught up with them. Still no GPF afaik..!
How easy is it to pull the vacuum line? I don't mind the quite sound generally. Will need it for track days (there is only one short straight I will need to lift) . . . . I'm just thinking when I give my brother a ride I ought to disconnect it
I have not even removed the rear cover yet on my car. I just wonder if this procedure is easier on the STO due to the large removable cover design.

Additionally, I am installing the battery maintainer myself. I have the car connected with just the clamps but was hoping to install the magnetic quick connect lead. With the access panel open in the frunk the positive terminal is right there with a small not that looks perfect for connecting one of the wires but the negative terminal is buried deeper to the left and has a panel on top of it (I thought the positive terminal is usually covered). There is however a metal prong that juts out towards the access port I have the negative clamp connected to.
Where/how do I connect the negative wire from the magnetic quick connect?
[ETA] Nvm - figured it out. The 'prong' as I call it unscrews and the wire can be attached there.

First basic impressions: the 4500rpm valve opening is odd - it goes from near silence to deafening. Somewhere in the middle would be a happy medium. The steering is very heavy at speed and it makes the car very darty.
It looks mad, love the paint colour and it’s a proper experience. It would certainly help if I was a foot shorter.
Mpg is better than expected.
The plate is because my wife is paralysed. Just a bit of fun.
