Thanks Daman C,
I didn't realise the centre wheel nut was a rare option. Like you I think it suits the car particularly when you have the race seats. Does anyone know what the total production numbers are of the Perf? by year, by country, by colour etc? would be interesting to know.
You would have thought someone would have posted a video on changing the perf centre lock.
It was the car for sale from PI. I don't have lambo assist with mine. I wonder what RAC breakdown would do with it if it got a puncture.
I had a go at guessing the numbers, and even started to database the Spyders in the UK - I estimated around 200 coupes and 140 Spyders were built, just an educated guess.I didn't realise the centre wheel nut was a rare option. Also I have black nuts (nothing to do with the seats)

Rat rod .. don't have the magazine to hand but it was a members review of one of his cars and he his knickname was rat rod .. anyway!!
Sorry not meaning to go off thread ,just found a Rat Rod3 on here ,he joined in 2014 so looks likei may have almost cloned him, don't think he was anything to do with the article as he drives a 57 Ford Wagon,
Funny part is he lives locally to me, seen his Wagon parked up at Goodwood and cruising round,

Thanks RR .. interesting reading. In the classic car world there are registers that list production figures per country per year per version. I wonder how they get that data.
Maybe mistaken identity, don't recall sending you anything about a production figures , or did i It's a age thing, I to tried to find out about production numbers from Lamborghini both
in the UK and the factory, might as well contacted my local Fish & Chip shop,
Got the information i required via Robert W who's on here ,

Possibly Lamborghini don't want the information to be public

Re. Centrelocks - I have them on my non-Performante Huracan. Basically its a pigging-pain. Having approached Pangbourne they wouldn't sell me the tool that they use for this and inevitably almost no tyre shops have them.
Pangbourne do have a friendly tyre shop who have the tool so I ended up getting my tyres changed while it was in for a service. They did also say they'd seen many painful attempts at removal of them either by owners or other tyre shops, none of which had pretty results.
That said, my anal approach to car cleanliness means I'd love to be able to take them off myself and give the insides a ruddy good cleaning! :-)
BigR - Is this what you mean (pics) or something else. I had this in my frunk toolkit my car came with. Regarding article , thanks, no rush if and when you get time.
I misread the article .. he is not called rat rod .. he has a rat rod!!Regarding article , thanks, no rush if and when you get time.
Ranging from Italian super/ race cars to vintage stuff including Austin Seven's, 50's yanks and Hot Rods so it's refreshing to hear
i'm not the only one who's brain is all over the place when it comes to mixing the world of super cars with Rat Rods including the
likes of Lord March,
I assume that the yellow Murcielago is the one i was watching on You Tube the other night on the SCD channel
they said he leaves it outside and drives it regularly ,good man
Thanks for the info Jonny TVR

I got around to checking finally this weekend, and yes I do in fact have one! Along with the obligatory practical white gloves. Does anyone know the nm required for these centre locks? Fairly critical on a hire powered car I would think! And in fact the jacking points - that is, if I'm brave enough to take the wheel off to satisfy my anal cleaning habits of doing them on the insides, not catching the discs etc...etc...
Hopefully you can see from these pics. The two ones of the red car are my departed 610 but it’s same jacking points on the Perf. I’ve used them to lift up the side of the car to clean in the arches. If you use the rear point the front wheels lift up too, but not vice versa. On the rear there is a circular groove just in front of the rear wheel that marks the jacking spot, but not at the front. Re the torque, I believe (but not fully sure) it’s 600Nm!
