Tyre choice for a Performante

Hello all,

My Perf has P Zero Corsas fitted. I understand these are racing tyres which perform well in the dry and when they are warm. They also wear down quickly and are not so good in the wet and cold.

I need a set of new tyres now. I live in Scotland where isn’t often wet and cold. I also never track my car. Ever.

Therefore should I put something different on like normal P Zeros or even P Zeros PZ4 whatever they are.

What do you guys all do? Corsas are the most expensive which for me seems overkill if I’m not going to track the car. Should I stick with Corsas in case there is some warranty issue by using a different tyre?

So I have managed to source P Zero Corsas L, plus fitting and tracking on all 4 wheels ( a must! ) for £1700.

Lambo wanted £2100 just for the tyres.

What I don’t understand is my supplier tells me there are L types and L1.

No one can seem to tell me what the difference is.

Just to conclude,

Got a set of 4 Corsas for £1400 fitted.

The difference is amazing, so much stickier.

Yes, they were L stamped.

Got them from a local tyre fitter but only because they were £100 cheaper than black circles, who were £600 less than lambo .
