Looks alright to me.
Same here, just needs a CTRL + mouse wheel up to bring the font size up a bit on a big screen.

That's a good point, it's like when Apple jumped on the flat design bandwagon making everything look ste.

I really like it - think it's great!

I think the logo needs updating to match the style.

I know it's a different colour, shape and size, but every time I go to a thread and see the new Reply button, exactly where the "thread closed" banner used to be, I have a momentary split-second feeling the thread has been closed.

It's a huge improvement in terms of appearance, looks coherent now at least and it significantly cleaner/more modern.

I can only imagine the layers of cruft and tactical bodge that have had to be stripped away to get the forum to this point. Having supported some fairly large forums in the past (although probably only 1/10 size of PH), both vBulletin & phpBB, I do sympathise.

All those little plug-ins, customisations, layout tweaks and other things that seemd such a good idea at the time really come back to bite you on the arse when it's time to upgrade/change things.

The fact that so many obvious and effective changes can now be made within a relatively (in PH terms) short time period. It's not perfect, but it's progress from where we were and hopefully a good indication of where you see things going.

Don't worry, PH techs, at least some of us appreciate the effort thumbup

Shame that the cars in My Garage under one's profile haven't been updated to the same look & feel - rather inconsistent. Also the Notes field for a car is still horribly broken.

That's why it's always best to start from scratch before you go live, do you think this change ain't another one of those tweaks on top of tweaks kind of thing?

A suprising new update that (no suprise) looks worse then the one before it! This must be some kind of trickey to make us all want the GTI skin.. because the GTI skin is better then this.

Quick for me with 100+ bookmarks on Windows 10 with Chrome, IE & Edge. Takes 1-2 seconds.

This is so terrible it is worse than a really bad thing. The old style might not have been perfect, but it was far better than this. Were the designers paid by the number of fonts they could use?
