Yup, a PH member contributed the original .js that turns your own posts blue, there's a post about it on here somewhere. Just needs tweaking to work with the recent 'skin' change.
Do you have a linky?

This has got even worse recently. It's horrible, looks like a schoolboy did it.

Is it just me or is anyone else getting eye-ache after reading a lot of text in the new font ? confused

I`ve never experienced it before but after 10 minutes browsing I had to close the forum as my eyes starting aching !

I don`t need glasses and don`t get this on any other site before someone suggest I do wink

Latest change does not render well on mobiles, especially the My Stuff and What's New pages.

From the top down

Why change the colour of the page numbers
Blue and purple are the standard colours for visited and unvisited pages. Purple indicates you've previously visited that page. Bold indicates there's a new post in that thread since your last visit. Bold purple indicates that there's a new post in a thread that you have visited.

It's unusual to see it these days; most sites change the a:visited and a colours in CSS. Originally when we all had 28.8k modems, it was handy to be able to identify links you'd already visited to avoid unnecessarily waiting to find you'd already seen something.

Whitespace and colour palette (particularly contrast) is shonky at best. Honestly, a good front-end dev would have this sorted in a day but it would appear Haymarket don't have one.

Oh for God's sake, why is it now pale blue and light grey?

It's difficult to read and hurts my eyes.

Would someone be kind enough to explain where I can change it, if indeed I can?

This new change is horrid. It's moving away from the format that made it different and better than all the other forums with its simple friendly interface and basic colour scheme...but this!!!! Good God people stop tinkering and leave it alone!

Do we think that maybe, instead of just complaining for complainings sake, we can run with this new look, work with it for a while and then give better feedback on things that are an actual problem? Longer term, that has to be a better bet than the pitchforks and torches approach?

It really is isn't it - I have to squint at the screen now in order to read it.

Every step a backwards one, sad really.

Font choice is poor, or maybe it's a contrast issue - dunno. Whatever it is I'm getting eye-strain after even short periods.

Completely fkED!

I think we should give some credit to the technical dept at PH for the work done so far to drag PH into the 20th century.
