Hi all,

We are experiencing issues with the site at the moment as many of you have spotted. The new guinea pigs lack the stamina that the hamsters used to have.

Please bear with us whilst we get back up to normal service.

Thanks,
Dom

I think it's time to ditch rodemts altogether and go for something a bit beefier and man enough for the job. I suggest Musk Ox.

Having been about to post sometime around 1pm that the site had returned the same error message, then took ages to load a blank page, it went down again. When I got back from a client visit around 10 minutes ago (ish) the site was again awol. Hopefully the rodents or equidae will get some vitamin pills soonest.

So much for RacingPete's "we're moving to a new server and there will be no more problems once done" that he posted a month back.

Shouldn't have kicked the hamsters out into the long grass then - they'll be a bugger to find now

Morning everyone,

Just to update you on the situation. As you have all noticed there has been some weird behaviour on the site, which eventually stabilised at about midnight when we reverted back to a previous release version of the site (Initially we thought that the problems were being caused by last Thursday's release).

However, we've subsequently discovered that the release might not have been at fault... but equally we don't yet know what was the cause, and we're not ruling out a DOS attack on the site.

The dev team are working on finding the cause of the problem, but until they do they obviously can't release any updates on the site.

We'll keep you updated as and when we know more, but for now the site is up and running and there shouldn't be any issues - but please do let us know if you spot anything, even if it seems minor.

Thanks for your patience,

JD
