I think we should give some credit to the technical dept at PH for the work done so far to drag PH into the 20th century.
How every "British" of you. It's often said that we'll clap anything !Seriously though, giving credit to someone for producing this ste is like thanking somone for letting their dog crap on your front lawn.
Not only is it unwarranted but it's quite likely to result in lots more st coming your way.
I knew it would get somebody but two is very satisfying.
I need to order some more pollys.

Not sure if server or local (I could find out but I CBA) but it doesn't work with multi-quotes if one of the quotes is your own.
There was an open bug report for that. Looks like they haven't yet resolved it. thebraketester said:

I can live with the look but the quotes do need sorting.
They are broken currently (were not before).
The "bubble" format is hard to read.

I like the new look.
Likewise. It's similar to what we've always had, but cleaner and Testing'd be nice, sure - there's obviously some browser-compatibility wrinkles going on, as well as a few other little bits, but on the whole, it's really not that bad. It's a step forward without being a radical change.
It's almost certainly just one step towards the end position, with a solid base skin properly extracted from the underlying functionality - so that the skin can then have options or be tailored more easily.
