I am genuinely pleased with the improvements. Not perfect yet but getting better. I would like to see a bit higher contract although perhaps my aging eyes are the problem.

When I hover my mouse over a purple page number, it goes blue. This does give me a moment of confusion, if I am going to be mis-clicking.

Maybe if you could expand on "it's got awful contrast" then that may help!!

However, the top one is perfectly legible as well.

I tried with different graphic formats (the ones that PH allows) but none quite convey the horrible spidery unsmooth appearance of the top one

It just gives me a headache

Which browser/os are you using? The actual page doesn't look anything like the top one for me.. It's far crisper than your image.

Yes. It's worse if you hit 'delete' once and it just starts removing everything, arthritically. I've resorted to typing up replies in Notes and copy/pasting them in

I'm finding on the mobile site if I click on a post in my stuff it takes me to the last page but not to where I last viewed. When I go to what's new, I click on a topic for the first time and I get taken to the last post?
On a plus though I like the font and colours better than the first up date.

This was mentioned a couple of days ago. It's still not been fixed

The volume of adverts loading has made the site all but unusable for me, I've been forced to use an ad blocker to avoid it crashing my browser. Nice one.

You can say that again.

Ive now had to put ad blocker on the phone. It wasn't a problem before but since the up date on mobile the ads almost seem to be merged into other peoples posts making them look like a link the poster has put there.

I suspect you're struggling due to the way the OS uses the low-level pixel arrangement of your monitor to render text. (ClearType on Windows, "LCD Font Smoothing" on OSX)

If you don't have this correctly set up for your screen (and each LCD screen is different!) it will look rubbish. So you can see what's going on heres the A bit of your Syspro screenshot magnified up.
