The guinea pigs were on a cigarette break. All should be back to normal now so please say if you are still experiencing problems.

Thanks

I'm not sure the hamsters ever smoked but I could be wrong on that - in this day an age have you tried them on gum or patches?

Same thing happened again not many minutes ago.

PH pages took an age to load and...blanketyblank!

Then back to normal.

Loads of repeated "500 / unavailable" errors when attempting to load pages as well.

Same here. Another evening like this and I'll have to talk to the wife.

Happening to me intermittently yesterday and again today.

Sometime a blank page, sometimes an error from msxml.dll (server timed out) if I recall correctly.

It's happened again, roughly 5 minutes ago.

Page not loading for a long time but finally settled - blank!

Thanks for the feedback turbobloke. The developer responsible has been chained to his desk and won't be able to leave until he's fixed it.

We are currently experiencing issues with a couple of areas of the site. Please bear with us whilst we get back to normal service.

For users currently unable to access the classifieds, the following workaround might help:

Go to: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds?Category=us... Then click "New Search" and adjust your filters from there.

While appreciating that matters are in hand, I thought I'd mention that I just got bounced off the forums to an odd looking log-in page which didn't do as advertised (!) instead I got this:

Service Unavailable

HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.

Then less than one minute later it's all back up.
