This is all I get, with one ad blocker running it wouldn't even let me open PH with the other, the same half loaded page and the beachball of pain.

Safari on Macbook Pro

Mine looks exactly the same.
Using chrome seems to help as a temporary solution...

Same here - never used ad blockers before, but this has made me investigate and has opened my eyes. Won’t be going back now!

Came in here as, like many other posters, the site was becoming impossible to use.

Thanks for the Brave tips chaps, just installed and the site has never run so fast on my phone. beer

I'm glad it's not just me having problems - twenty seconds to load one page of text!

I had 1Blocker but checked it as a result of this thread and noticed it was no longer being updated.

Replaced with Ad Guard and all good (so far).

Underlying issue is silly amount of ads/trackers as others have highlighted. Self defeating from website owners as just makes more people install ad blockers.

Chrome on Android. Site's pretty much unusable.

Other site's all fine.

Well another user here who had stuck it out not using an ad blocker for years. Essentially recognised that a site such as this has to earn income from somewhere. However another convert to Brave and adblocking. Well done boys.

I've switched from Chrome to Brave on my (Android) phone for built-in, ad-free access, as Chrome's ad block doesn't come across to the mobile version.

PH is much zippier now!
Just given your suggestion a try. Works perfect now. No issues at all and no fking Outbrain adds taking half the page up now too!
Blimey. Properly fast! smile
I wouldn't say "fast", but also tried this and it's now usable.

First the stty shortcuts bar at the bottom, now trashing performance with ads... New dev team needed PH.

Probably Haymarket in one last ditch attempt to generate funds before sale, flood the site with adds, but make It so unusable, user's migrate to a browser that block's the proposed fund generators ... couldn't make it up.

So I’ve not been able to open the site on the iPad for a few days.
Finally decided to try on the phone and eventually it opens. iPad just sits there half page open buttons dead.

I see you are using something called brave. Great iPad memory nearly full. I’m guessing that’s the issue so I’ve just dl brave and working straight away. Even less memory awesome.

As per post earlier. Ad Guard works well so far and means you can carry on using Safari.
