It’s been suggested already. I can only presume that the forum software is so terrible that such a thing cannot be implemented.

On a modern forum software it would be sorted in about 5 minutes.

Yes if I recall correctly it's often said that the code here is not maintainable, so lock this lot as archive and transfer the logins to new maintainable code.

It's a shame to see this because the forum and how it is for me is a part of the character of pH. I guess it dates back into the 90s though which really is something that it's still going strong. Is there a plan underway to migrate to something new?

I do hope not - part of the appeal of PH is the fact it doesn't have avatars and other frilly st that adds nothing (like most forums)
