The "rumor" right now is around a 1,000 cars with a limited 2 year production run similar to the HP with the possibility of some sort of number limited SVJ at the end of production. It's beyond me why dealers can't give a straight answer on whether or not it's going to be number limited.
Personally I think it's be a good time to buy an SV, they're coming down in price and it might be the only V12 that is number limited except for the one offs. What worries me though is that a number limited V12 shouldn't be dropping in price the way the SV is, Lamborghini really needs to think about how they can keep their cars more exclusive especially the V12's and protect their buyers from taking massive depreciation hits.

So what if it loses some money in percentage terms - newsflash, most cars do. Don’t see Golf R32 or BMW M2 etc buyers complaining that their performance version depreciates because it is not numbers limited (and in terms of net worth of the buyer there is probably a larger overall impact than for SV buyers)
Wish people would get back to buying cars because of how they drive as opposed to if they will depreciate or not. Same goes for a large number of McLaren, Porsche buyers
It did an amazing lap of the Nordschleife, has an N/A V12 and a carbon tub - what else do people want - probably the last of its kind

Agree! It’s almost the definition of what a supercar should be !! Some will say RWD manual would be preferable ..Wish people would get back to buying cars because of how they drive as opposed to if they will depreciate or not. Same goes for a large number of McLaren, Porsche buyers

Not sure how tractable the 720 or 812 is being rwd but my M5 with 730bhp was frustrating in anything but perfect weather!
Anyway back on topic who wants to buy my plate V12 JOT.. what’s it worth ??

Correct Re SVJ and build numbers/times. - The limited car at the end will the called a J63, Limited to 63 units with fully exposed carbon fibre body and panels.Personally I think it's be a good time to buy an SV, they're coming down in price and it might be the only V12 that is number limited except for the one offs. There is also talk of a hyper car with kers @ circa £2M
Regarding the current SV - You have to bear in mind that most of the cars available for sale listed at around £370k (roadster) so they are very much still retailing for over list money. Further more the only cars that are available for sale close to list have 5 and 8k miles with around 6 months left on the warranty.
They have come down in value but that was from the heyday of £130k overs and the SVJ will probably prop them up further with talk of the coupe being the same list price as the current SV Roadster. Expect a decent spec SVJ roadster to come in at around £450k

I've heard through the grapevine about this secret hypercar but not even the dealers know about this!
£370k is just over base spec for a SV roadster, after i did mine it came up to £396k. So £370k is below list

Never you mind said:
Looks cool as f
k! Are they LIMITED Editions or is it case of first come first served? For example, could I call Pangbourne and order one now if I was so inclined?
Haha, you could call and speak to them and see if it is a LIMITED edition and place an order, but you may later find out it's only a LIMITED run and cancel the order.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
Long and short no one knows, official unveiling is at Blenheim palace on the 29th so we may get told then.
If I can get some live pictures I'll post them on here.
