Murci CEL and Cat warning

Gentlemen,
Whilst you are of course correct, getting it collected and taken to Sevenoaks is the most sensible, infact the only real option, but where is the fun in that.....
I have found the non working coil, swapping it from one cylinder to another and burning the end of my finger proved is was only this one.
Reid Performance in the US sell an "improved" set for $1200 plus postage and import taxes. Sevenoaks will offer a modest discount to assist, so hopefully £1,000 inc Vat.
Buying from Lamborghini gives me 11 identical spares.
Despite much searching I can not find the same coils being used on any other car. Unless somebody has done a conversion to the 4 pin later Audi coils these are the only options we have I am afraid.
The 3 pins coils are expensive but the wiring loom is cheap, the 4 pin coils are cheap but the wiring loom is expensive !

Del, see the posts from Whiteout on the other forum. He had some new coils designed & made for the early Murci, and was selling them on the forum. A few people had them and reported positively. There was some design improvements over stock and they were cheaper than OEM. He's the fella who's now design the new intakes. Just down from your thread.Whilst you are of course correct, getting it collected and taken to Sevenoaks is the most sensible, infact the only real option, but where is the fun in that.....

Morning,
I have been in contact with him.
The rate of exchange makes him slightly more expensive than buying from Lamborghini, and I was unsure whether they mix and match ?
Either Lamborghini UK have reduced their price recently or they pay an excessive Tax in the US, he suggested they are $3000 in the US !

Evening,
All fixed.
Picked up 12 new coils yesterday from Sevenoaks.
As you can imagine they are different, these are Champion branded with LAMBORGHIN written on them - code bae 720b.
The three pin head is rotated upside down, to get the connectors to fit you have to turn themselves upside down. This is twisting 15 year old Italian wires!!!! I didn't like that.
Ran it a couple of junctions on the A2, sounded much better no misfire. Stopped at bluewater to check the exhaust system nothing was glowing.
Job well done !
Sevenoaks had a gallardo with no interior- failed condenser a lot has to come out to get to it !!
