I’ve never sold a car, so I really don’t care.
I have taken a few to the dump though.
Cars go up and down in value.
But mostly down, obviously.
Especially with the bid/offer spread.
Sometimes you get lucky, if you buy what you love, because, over time, more people come to share your view.
A big factor is numbers. They only built about 2,000 Diablos.
So you only need 2,001 people to really want one.
Production numbers on more modern cars are very different.

I would completely agree with that. I understand and appreciate that with any car deprecation rates are a consideration but IMO buying what you have an interest in and a passion for is where the real value is, and if that car happens to appreciate over time …. as most non-daily driver cars do ….then that should be regarded as a bonus.

At £200k it would need to be the best in the uk. My concern from buying this kind of car from that kind of outfit is that you are paying the kind of overheads associated with £1m cars on what they might consider to be a cheap jalopyhttps://jeremycottingham.co.uk/Stock/13555/Lamborg...
I would definitely give Mike Pullen a ring (Carrera Sport - he is more a mechanic than dealer but is well connected and knows most UK cars) and also Carlo at Top Gear Specialist cars. The former looks after mine and I bought mine from the latter. Both are extremely knowledgeable. To this I would add that Dave at Pangbourne, as recommended by Ferrucio, also gets a lot of positive votes (although I don’t have any personal experience with him)
These are rare cars (especially in the UK) if there is one for sale those three will either know of it or be able to help

Im looking at sell my diablo via a dealer any recommendations ?
Brother in law sold his gallardo via VVS so they will be my first port of call, also to get a market appraisal on value
so have a peek.
Looks lovely! Is it an original uk car?Brother in law sold his gallardo via VVS so they will be my first port of call, also to get a market appraisal on value

Try Carlo at Top Gear, he owns much of his stock so could be a good option if you are looking for a clean deal

What about this beauty.
1993 looks like a large binnacle car - £165,000.
Located in Spain and the pictures are 12 years old, oh and it doesn't work - needs recommissioning.!!
What is it really worth - half that ??

There's a very wealthy English record producer living in California who has a You Tube channel called " Producer Michael" and it was What about this beauty.

mentioned while talking about his car collection in one of his video's that he still owned a Diablo which he had left in
Spain some years ago, I suppose if RHD not a lot of use to him in the States.
Not that it makes a whole lot of difference, just thought i'd throw that bit of useless information in .

Hasn't that been on the market a while??Went to see a very modified 308 GTS that they had for sale which was owned by the same owner as the Diablo.
The guy was reputed to have spent £83k on developing it (308 not Diablo)
but it was to similar to what i all ready had and a bit to complex for me.
funny enough it is currently advertised on the F.O.C classifieds.
Sorry i digress , don't know if they sold it (Diablo) or it went back to the owner but they did have it a long time.
Hexagon may not even own it, Would be nice to get hold of the owner, if the same one from 3 years ago may be getting fed up.
