Just finished up on the carbon sill plates, they were hard to photograph as the light/weather wasnt great today, but photos wont do them justice anyway.

I had the "Lamborghini Diablo motif" created in the mould, and its done in such a way that its transparent and doesn't hide the carbon weave below, yet visible in just the right way with the right light on it.

I'm working on the door handles and also the wiper spoilers, hopefully have some photos of the wiper spoilers soon, I removed my wiper arm as I wanted to soda blast it and do a nice fresh paint job, so while I was at it, just decided to mould and create new carbon spoilers.

Yes you could have less writing or just plain [no writing] they way it's done in the photos was copied from OEM.

If there is enough people interested, then I guess I could put together a group buy and go from there.

Yeah, the early cars up to a certain year had the same text etched into the sill plates, then at some point the text was dropped, I'm not too sure as to when, but from research I noticed the text disappeared around 97/98 for SV model.

I have brand new OEM sill plates with no text, and my old OEM plates HAS text, the sill plates WITH text were much more expensive too.

They also changed the bolt/rivet hole position on the sill plates around 1993/94.

Hi Sudesh,
OEM ? confused - my metal ones are completely blank.

Are you thinking of the 6.0 cars ?

I'm aware the Murci's have Murcielago written on them, but that's all I thought

I Davo,

The Carbon plates will fit all years as the holes can be made to suit. I have both years of OEM metal sill plates.

I have another set of carbon sill plates here, that I'm going to try a different way of securing them to the main sill panel. These sill plates don't have any holes drilled yet, because what I would like to do is use nice black countersunk hex/Allen type bolts that are countersunk into the carbon sill plate. I really dislike the rivets that Lamborghini used to secure these.

So my plans are to fit countersunk nuts into the OEM sill panel holes [basically where your rivets go] and then use the countersunk hex/Allen bolts to secure the carbon plates to the main sill panel, it will look much nicer, plus you have the added benefit of removing the plates at any time should the need arise.

Some good research there David, I do recall seeing some later cars without the Lamborghini script on the rear deck.

How's your coming along? Any pics of the new lights installed yet?

Finished the wiper spoilers

I had a new AMP surround made too, the old OEM one was damaged when I purchased the car.
