Just in case you don't know but Mr Lamborghini's own Countach is featured in Classic & Sports car this month. I don't think the driver realises just what an amazing privileged position he was in to drive that car in the places he did.....now what would pay to get the chance to do that chaps? ......Ummmmmm...

great pic! takes me back to school days. Is that the 1978 motor show magazine?

My dad used to buy me those each year, wish I still had them!!!!!

I think the cheapest cars were Fiat 126, skoda estelle and citroen 2CV, all around £2000. dearest cars were RR camargue and Countach (if memory serves right)

Camargue was the dearest at £47367 and the Countach S was £32500 in sept 1978. I have kep my old Motor show editions and yearbooks.

Only ever seen 3 Camargues on the road! The first in 1978.

It was signed by Mr P Zonda. He loves the Countach as he worked for Lamborghini on the final version 're the development of carbon fibre and composits for the Anniversary. This was before he went off and started his own car company. He saw it at Top Gear live as he had a stand there also. We met shook hands and he complimented me on my car, signed a Zonda poster too...I have it on video somewhere!

All in all a great day at the show...oh especially when I went and borrowed all the show girls for a quick photo shoot round my car haha.

Best colour combination as well imo!

It wasn't too long ago when there was a Canary Yellow one for sale on here for £65k (it had come down over the months)...that was a missed opportunity! Not sure whatever happened to that one though...not too often you see/hear about a yellow Countach in the UK.
