Espada The Recently Remembered Super saloon!

Every year at the large Best of France and Italy Car Show in Los Angeles, there are always a couple of Espadas parked nearby our Pantera corner. I just realized that when I took this picture of my car I captured a couple of Espadas in the background. Interesting cars.

I don't believe HYX491N is on a Espada however I've HVX491N with Espada 9194.

Easter 1974, bimbleing back from a wet climbing trip to Snowdonia in a Morris Minor, a V12 being wrung out is heard from behind, a blue Espada flashes past, changing up just as it passes for added effect. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Love these cars but have never since one on the road since. My only subsequent sighting was at PH25 on the back of a transporter. I live in hope, still makes me smile to remember that day.
